Award-winning journalist Susan Fadem grew up wanting to be reporter Lois Lane. Now in her fifth decade of writing professionally, she began her career as a feature writer, columnist, and medical reporter at the old St. Louis Globe-Democrat, where her work was often picked up by newspapers both nationally and internationally. Later, she reported for the St. Louis Sun; and served as editor-in-chief at the Ladue News, as well as magazines St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles and St. Louis Woman. The author of four books (three on cats, one on kids) and a contributor to a college textbook, she now happily freelances for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s "Home & Away" section and the St. Louis Jewish Light.
This event is $10 for GMLP members. $20 for non-members. All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward funding future media literacy programs in the St. Louis region.
