As is the tradition at Gateway Media Literacy Partners, we like following media literacy educator and professional, Frank Baker. Frank, a resident of South Carolina, has traveled the world teaching teachers about teaching media literacy. Frank has been a headliner at several of Gateway Media Literacy Partner's Media Literacy Weeks, bringing in large audiences and stimulating interest in sustained media literacy education. Always generous, Frank has donated his media literacy books (Close Reading, Media Literacy in the K-12 Classroom) for use by local educators and events where GMLP hosts communities who want a taste of the media literacy field. As a recipient of our Lifetime GMLP Membership Award, we would like to take this opportunity to share Frank's latest content for middle school educators. The resource, available on MiddleWeb is titled, "When Should We Teach Critical-Thinking to Kids?"
